CDL has deep roots within the film and recording industry, with our first acoustic doors being manufactured for the BBC. Since then, we have gone on to develop a wide range of door types and sound attenuations ideal for recording environments. CDL's horizontal sliding doors and vertical lift doors seal to the finish floor, eliminating the need for a floor track and threshold which allows sensitive cameras and other equipment to easily pass in and out as needed. Combined with the ability to provide a fire rated acoustic opening, CDL can deliver a single solution that eliminates the need and cost associated with a separate fire shutter.
